Rosewood string-through bridge with compensated saddle. The neck is comfortable, plays great up & down the fretboard, and the truss rod works perfectly.īody: Lyrachord bowl body with a solid spruce top in nutmeg finish. The frets display some light wear in the first position, but still have plenty of life in them. The strap button was relocated from the bass side of the neck heel to the treble side, leaving a small screw hole in the bowl back. It does display some light surface scratches, a few minor dings, dents, and a very small finish crack behind the bridge, but for the most part is very clean. Thanks to the professional set up from our in-house tech, the guitar plays like a dream & comes with its original paperwork/owner's manual.Ĭosmetic Condition: Great shape overall. It has a very nice low end response, with a strong mid-range presence and crisp clear high end. The solid spruce top and lyrachord bowl back combination produce a pleasant tonal range that represents all of the frequencies in the spectrum. What makes this guitar special: Known as the “John Lennon” model, this beautiful sounding 1651 Legend is in great shape for its age.
